the snout thing is weird. i wouldn't characterize either of those animals as having U or V shapes. but crocodiles have an elongated jaw so i went with them for V

for whatever reason i've never needed a mnemonic for stalactites/stalagmites - stalactites come first and they sound like they should come first and they are on top

i researched just the other day the difference between a frog and a toad because i had to fish out a toad from my swimming pool. toads apparently are also weaker swimmers than frogs and will drown faster :(
