A18 is the first point because it prevents white from escaping, and threatening to create two eyes with a followup of b19. However, after a18, b19 and e18 are "miai" which basically means either space is good ah, so white tried to preempt black from forming two eyes first by doing b19. black needs to do e18 before e19 first because it strengthens the formation in that area, right?
