I didn't watch Alola at all so the extent of my knowledge was that Ash won the league and battled Kukui.Battle Royale that went from 151 contestants to 16 in one episode Round of 16 was 1 vs. 1 with some matches just being quick cuts to show the results. 2 episodes total if I remember right. Quarters were 1 vs. 1 with matches being about half an episode to an episode long depending on matchup Semis were 2 vs. 2 with each match being an episode long.
