I really, really don't know how to go about this. So...
I'm sorry for your loss, you certainly gave her a better life, especially for an older cat roaming the streets. Unfortunately, these words hold true.
I didn't want to say anything at the time, as it was still too early and I don't want to pile more bad news on top. After that post, Furrball was in the transition of being unusually active for weeks to suddenly not. Not trying to make anyone feel bad, just that it hammered into me more.
Yesterday (July 12th), she was a bit wobbly and refused food or water that morning. I fed the other cats, came back in debating on if I should take her to the vet. Instead she waited for me to return to her before passing.
Early April, 2002 - July 12, 2022. Not too bad for a feral kitten.
As for the how, her nasal polyp started to bleed again and effect her sense of smell. It's happened a few times over the last 5 years and she's recovered. This caused her kidneys to finally give out, after being on that path for some time.
RIP. My condolences, and sorry for your loss. She looked like she was such a nice kitty
