It's awesome. Would recommend to anyone who likes hikes and naturey stuff. I prefer Oahu to Maui island-- so many cool places to see if you drive out of the main cityscape around Honolulu (I think a lot of people don't bother and that's why they're not big on Oahu-- if you don't leave the Honolulu area you've just got Vegas with less people and more birds, pretty but not special), but without the huge roundabout drives like you get in Maui. Maui has a lot of cool stuff too I just think it's a bit more work to get around. Want to go again to check out the other islands.

If you just want to slum at beaches just go to Florida. If you want to just go hang out at resorts go to Las Vegas. But yeah if you want to see a lot of cool things Hawaii just has the craziest sights. A lot of it looks straight out of Avatar man. Love it.
