Toxic feminity is a thing, however I think a lot more of it is directed towards other women as a systemic means of upholding patriarchy and white supremacy.

Of course other genders are affected by it as well, but there is a reason women supporting women is a thing.

I think there might be cases specific to certain areas. In my line of work women are more prone to being bitches to each other. It's like they know it's still a man's world in this line of work and will cut each other off at the knees to be the woman to advance

Historically speaking anyways. Things have improved but we still got some old heads (women) who act this way.

Hell we got one supervisor whos a piece of work. She likes black men (nothing wrong with that) but she gets all bent out of shape when she sees female employees being friendly with black male employees and she starts to ride their ass about everything she can. She treats female subordinates like shit in general but that makes it worse.

My least favorite is the one who uses the excuse women had to be bitches to get respect back in the day. (Which to be fair was true)It's not back in the day.... the warden isn't a bitch and well she made it to warden.
