| andylt 07/09/22 7:49:28 AM #26: | The Lost City White Palace This Alto's Odyssey series sounds very pleasant! I wish this track had another segment or two but it's still decent. RVOLUTIN has a catchy whoawhoawhoawhoa and the track wisely knows that's the best part because it's repeated a thousand times, but it can't win off of that alone! The rest of the song is not for me. I don't connect to Savior at all and I adore White Palace, this may be one of the easiest matchups in the round for me. I swear it's not my general pro-Hollow Knight bias, WP is one of my favs in that OST (and I didn't think it would be anyone else's, so I'm happy it got into the contest). The wistful vibes are off the charts, I love the harp (?) plucking away like it's finding the melody as it goes, it builds and fades so naturally, man I just love it. All the layers come together so well, I particularly love 2:45-55 for some reason. floatable is pretty funky as far as generic anime songs go, there's something interesting in there. Will Force is also overly simple but pretty enjoyable, this is a close match. I'll abstain for now and listen to them again later.
