DSP gave this woman a song and dance, and inticed her with that house to get her there, and it really speaks to how shitty she felt her situation was to be lured there, and be his trophy wife - validation that he's an adult. That's not in itself motive for revenge? He manipulates, and uses people, but you wanna be that guy so bad you don't consider that unhappiness, and him stunting her growth as a person can be motive for revenge?

I don't wanna bash you for playing devil's advocate - i wanna call you out for trying to be the smartest guy in the room. Out of line if you ask me.
