Maybe you aren't aware of all the programs that they have in place to assist people in becoming homeowners like 0% down amongst many other things. Maybe the 0% down is no longer a thing however there are multiple programs people can use to help them become a homeowner. It's up to them to look into it. That is how I was able to get a house I did my research and found It's not nearly as difficult as some make it out to be.

You most likely haven't looked into home purchasing in recent times. The assist programs and discounts you can use to lower price doesn't even matter anymore with the way home prices have skyrocketed. And the 0% down payment thing is not a normal pricing given out, it's only for select few people that qualify for it such a as veterans, etc. You probably got lucky and qualified for such plan, but do know that not everyone can ask for and sign up for something like that.
