Solid Sonic 05/31/22 7:24:59 PM #1: | But when George Floyd died the fucking Internet basically turned off for a whole day where everyone stood in solidarity with the BLM movement, posting messages calling for accountability in race relations among law enforcement and many YouTube channels shut down for a whole day, refusing to upload new content outside of a black banner with white text. Why can't the massacre of several children prompt a similar response calling for the end of widespread civilian firearm ownership? How is this less serious of an issue and why hasn't there been a unified response? If anything shouldn't this cross even more cultural lines and strike a deeper chord than racial injustice? No one of any one creed or group died that day, it was just a group of children and their educators who could have been from any background. And I say this as someone who actually doesn't want to be restricted on the firearms I can own but even I accept that other people have basically ruined what could have been a cool hobby for me and we just need to stop. --- Remember kids: whatever doesn't kill you can be used as the basis for a lawsuit and a big settlement. ...
