Sounds right to me, I resigned myself to lowering my standards almost a decade ago, almost accepting any woman who would bother to actually take the time and you know....ACTUALLY GIVE ME A CHANCE. In the last half a year or so I've had at least half a dozen women agreed to go on dates with me and then stand me up. Like fuck you, if you didn't want to go on a date with me then just say so to begin with don't build up my hope. That's why it's not worth trying to date because women are always holding out for these perfect men who are never going to go for anyone but dimes.
