If you make plans with her, have a backup plan so youre not bummed if it falls through.

I feel as if one of my other major problems is not expressing enough interest. I feel like I'm in this spiral of being invested at the wrong times and being not invested at the wrong times. I feel shame when I express interest and it's been a lot to deal with. Recently I've been more comfortable in being honest about my interest and it's made things more comfortable regardless of the outcome. Idk if I'll ever figure it out; I'm becoming more okay with deserving to be alone.
