The funny thing is, it's not an Insect deck. I'm using it as a source of removal in my Crusadia OTK deck. The key part of this is Resonance Insect.

I added Resonance Insect as an alternate Link 1 starter play, since if I use it for a Link 1 (in this case Almiraj) then it can search out either a Kaiju (Kumongous and Gadarla are both Insects) or Mother Spider. At that point, Resonance Insect is either the only monster in my graveyard or it's there along with with the Maxx C that I used on the opponent's turn 1, so I meet the "only Insects in your graveyard" requirement to use Mother Spider as removal. Or if I use Maxx C on their turn 1 and draw Mother Spider off of it, I can just skip the Resonance Insect step entirely. Plus, Mother Spider sends the opponent's monsters as its summoning cost like a Kaiju does, so it gets around protections, and due to how powerful and popular Lightning Storm is, people putting parts of their turn 1 board in defense position is fairly common these days.

In the game I won with Mother Spider, my opponent set up a board with three big monsters (one of which was DPE, the other two I don't remember but they were in defense position to avoid Lightning Storm) and Verte sitting there too. I Kaiju'd DPE away, used Resonance Insect to search out Mother Spider to remove his other two monsters, then OTK'd my opponent with a very beefy Crusadia Equimax attacking Verte.
