No, people are upset that they paid for John Mulaney tickets and were subjected to an unbilled comedian making jokes that alienated them in a crowd of 12,000 mostly cis people in the most transphobic state in the country. Its sad that you actually do have a brain from what Ive seen from some of your posts and you still choose to express your ridicule and dismissal of trans people in every topic where you can come up with a way to be insulting to us without getting yourself modded. You can sneer to yourself about it all you want, but if thats all you really get out of it on a personal level, I feel sympathy for you.
I'm trying to get something here, understanding. Equality is everyone being treated the same, Chappelle joking about trans folks is a symptom of equality as he jokes about everyone. The backlash creates a forbidden fruit, something no offensive comedian can resist. It could be a good jumping off point for conversation, or a witch hunt. I say the conversation has far more benefits than the witch hunt is all. Just read the language used in the article, questioning why he "was allowed" to perform. Like he needs the permission of some higher power to show his face with another comedian. Sounds crazy. Maybe John and Dave are friends? Maybe they like each other's comedy? This is just getting really weird...
