Okay wait...

I was just thinking, "what technically defines your race?", like is there a certain genetic threshold that you meet to be classified as one race or another?

After a quick google search I came across a Census document and one of the first lines is:

"The Census Bureau defines race as a persons self-identification with one or more social groups."

So...yea I guess it depends on how you identify, which is up for interpretation I suppose. Assuming their usage of "identify" is more along the lines of, if you have an Asian father and a White mother, you probably identify more with one of their respective heritages more than the other. Not just identify as whatever race you want, but still seems like a statement that is up for lots of interpretation
