Considering how badly they were buried on commentary, in Becky's promo, and in WWE's statement, I'm pretty sure this is a legit "took their ball and went home" moment. Vince had commentary and The Rock bury the fuck out of Stone Cold when he walked out too. He's just that petty. Oh wow yeah. I remembered when Stone Cold legit quit and Vince had a promo whining about him. Calwings posted... There's a clear difference between doing that in the early 2000's men's tag team division (where the division was already really strong and filled with credible teams ready to be elevated) and doing that in the current-day women's tag team division (where there are basically no legitimate tag teams and all of the various thrown together teams are being broken up every couple of months often for no good reason). Sasha and Naomi wanted to elevate the women's tag team division, while WWE creative is basically doing everything in their power to prevent them. What the hell is going on with this company these days? Like have the creatives noticed that they haven't really managed to make a huge star in like...a decade?
