Youre not protecting your pay because they legally cant pay you any less and someone stealing a pair of headphones isnt going to give BestBuy legal right to not pay the employees. Where does law enforcement stand on citizen retail workers physically stopping a thief? I would advise citizens to not do that and just call the cops. They clearly have cameras to make an identity.
