You also have to consider things like durability. Wanda may win in terms of raw power, but ultimately her body is still that of a human. This can be seen even in MoM as she is slowing down after constant use of her power in the underground tunnel. I am not saying she cant beat Carol but I am willing to bet shed have done better than anyone in this film.
I was a bit baffled at how Richards, the smartest person on the planet, just went full rambo on her as well.
dont forget that wanda from 616 is dream walking another wanda from 838 and that wanda doesnt have the knowledge and power 616 wanda does, yet is able to do 616 feats. Thats ridiculously powerful that shes using a puppet and extending her powers through dimensions. Thats why 838 is wearing down as she fights and progresses. Many people are underestimating her powers at this point. Her best line was that to Strange when she said the only reason everyone was alive was cause she was being reasonable.
and yes, i think that was a meta joke about Reed in certain comic incarnations that hes arrogant as fuck and hes more arrogant that Dr. Strange.
