I always get sad when I'm at a cemetery and I see the grave of someone who died like 100 years ago.

There is literally not a single person still living who knew that person

And yeah that's an obvious thing for people who died hundreds of years ago and it's still just as sad to me. Unless they were some historical figure they've been reduced to a name carved in a rock that no one will visit
