ok, so i know a lot of you have been on the edge of your seats waiting for an update in the "cactuscat attempts to woo the convenience store girl" chronicles, and i have an update for you
as you already guessed by my aptly titled title, she said yes! but "to what?" you may be asking yourself. well, it's really simple
i went in for my daily purchase of dog food (i don't have a dog), a bottled water (i drink distilled water so it was a super expensive smart water - now she knows i'm made of money), and some caramel popcorn (for my grandma, i'm doing yardwork at her house tomorrow and its her favorite snack)

anyway, she made a joke about the smart water, something like "does it make you smarter?" and i said "i wish, but i've been duped before...like, i have all of my wisdom teeth but i'm still a dumb ass" and she laughed a bit, and said i'm funny (see, unlike some of the jabronis from here, lots of people have a sense of humour)
then she was like "i'm sure you're pretty smart" and then i said "maybe, but i have a pretty bad track record, like i want to ask you out but it'd be the smart move not to, and here i am bringing it up"
then she was like "where are you taking me?" and then we set details, we exchanged numbers and snapchats, and have been chatting ever since.
