Sanctions that cripple your economy, military being made a laughing stock, rising tensions back at home when tensions are already fraught. What's to gain when they already pretend Taiwan is theirs when they can just continue pretending. I've no doubt they will at some point (but I hope not), I just don't see how Russia's war will influence that any. And for those acting surprised Google has this power.... really?
