| HeroDelTiempo17 04/11/22 12:31:13 PM #29: | Saw it. Was good! Better than the first movie for sure. The last two major scenes were very video gamey in a way that really worked. Idris Elba and Jim Carrey killed it. Only real complaints are the same weaknesses as the first movie. A lot of the dialogue and writing is below average (wtf was that snow lodge scene?) and while I don't really mind the human characters that much I think they're a symptom of the writing more than a cause. And a minor nitpick but I wish they'd get more of the game music in there besides for jokes. If they're doing orchestral remixes I can't tell, though I think I caught Theater had a bunch of adult nerds (ourselves included) that the mid credits scene got a good reaction of laughing and cheering from so that was wonderful --- I definitely did not forget to put the 2020 GOTD Guru winner, azuarc in my sig! ...
