In WoW battlegrounds, saying something like you are about to be logged out due to inactivity, type /afk to remove your AFK flag or you will be kicked. Typing /afk would actually immediately set your status to afk, which immediately removes you from the BG. There was a way to do this as an emote so it didnt look like regular speech.
