You're nearing 30. Consider that you could live the duration of your entire lifespan starting now and still have enough spare years to do it again. If you're giving up now it's not because you're out of time.

This. I sometimes have those thoughts that it's too late for me to have the life that I want, but I'm 27 going on 28 and I've realized that, save for health complications, a freak accident or getting murdered, I haven't even lived half my life yet.

It's also worth pointing out that some people don't figure this shit out until their 40s. Don't lose hope.

Also, please let go of the idea that you need to be "good" at your hobbies. Society has this way of making you think something isn't worth doing if you're not good enough to make money off of it, but that's simply not true.
