Haven't ever checked them out, but a bunch of other series 3 was when I first learned about it and I assumed 3 was already upgrading on a lot of QoL stuff. 1 I enjoyed, 2 I enjoyed less, 3 was good, Oceans is....okay, haven't played 4 or Frontiers although I do have 4. That being said there is a pretty big difference that it probably isn't worth playing 1&2 anymore because some mechanics will be difficult to go back to.
