Oh yeah so Weeping Peninsula is where you're really supposed to go first. Caelid is actually like a midgame zone. You can go there and make some progress early, but you should probably at least clear Raya Lucaria first before you really start to explore Caelid. And even then, there's stuff there you will have a hard time clearing until even later.

Dude I just randomly found the friggin sword of night and flame! Mwhahaha! I was exploring the rafters in the magic manor with all those hand spider things and the magic ghost guards kept killing me so I went another way and saw you could jump down below onto another set of rafters. A ladder down and BOOM chest with the sword.

This is one of the best weapons in the entire game from what I hear. The INT requirement is 24 and I only have 9 soooooo gonna be a bit before I can try it out. Honestly I wouldve thought this was a lot more hidden and harder to get to, like an endgame treasure or something.
