How does it "grow the game" to remove games from a public broadcaster and put the games on premium station, Gary? It doesn't, it's pure greed. Actually pretty much all professional sports, the owners and the league have a narrative and season "champion" all picked out before the season starts; us rubes just watch and hope the narrative swings our way. And then there has been the push from (*checks notes*) conservative politicians (so much for family values, I guess they meant cosa nostra) to open up sports betting and expand legalized gambling in general. --- Why didn't you DODGE‽‽‽ Quoting me will trigger the profanity filter, Not Joking.
