| andylt 02/25/22 12:41:16 PM #41: | In order to provide more time and opportunity for audience entertainment and engagement through comedy, musical numbers, film clip packages and movie tributes, a change in the shows production will take place. Lmao they aren't even shortening the broadcast, just cutting awards to show more "skits". This isn't going to bring in an audience, they're just annoying the few people left who watch these. Not to mention the obvious that they're establishing a hierarchy of awards (and film) importance, flipping off entire branches and prioritising the most famous people who already get a ton of attention. Do the people in charge of the Oscars just hate cinema lol, this is so disrespectful.
