Bringing them back would end up making everything cost more. Of course, the workers would likely be paid and treated better than their Chinese counterparts, but the consumer wouldn't see or care for that; all they'd see is a price increase. Plus, less money going into the pockets of rich CEOs and shareholders.

It sucks, but that's the way it is.

There are ways around it. If these companies can find ways to give their CEOs millions in bonuses every quarter they can find ways to keep a profit without drastically raising prices. Its all possible. Theyre just not willing to do it. But through proper policy reform we can make it happen.
