Topic	Anyone know if you can erase save data for Super Famicom games?

I'm starting it up again, and noticed all the other save files on the game that came with it since I bought it used, and was wondering if it's possible to just wipe the data. Does anyone know of a way, or am I just gonna have to learn to live alongside these save files? Isn't there a new game option?
