Transunion monitoring is available from CreditSesame.com
Equifax (the folks who got hacked) is available from CreditKarma.com (they also do transunion)
Experian monitoring is available from Experian.com, with their free account (scroll down on the sign up page and theres a free account. free accounts have everything except for a score).

a lot of the websites will monitor all three at a fee. you can do that if you want, but this is a free option.

in my experience, they all work. i usually get bombarded with emails and alerts when i sign up for new cards.

also if you want to check your transunion report DAILY (credit karma refreshing once a week), i suggest WalletHub.com.

what i'd be more worried about is folks opening up Bank Accounts in your name. most times those are "soft pulls" to your credit and dont appear on a normal credit report. youll be able to see them if you get your report from annualcreditreport.com but those are once a year, per bureau.
