I'd think most mothers who prefer breastfeeding their baby would use formula before a stranger's breast milk. Breast milk banks are already a thing in many regions. The mother's own milk is still the best, but if that isn't an option, another person's milk is still much, much better than formula for the baby, so if it's available, that'd be the recommendation from anyone that knows what they're talking about. It's not like the idea of using somebody else's milk is particularly new, either. Wet nurses have been around for thousands of years. --- This is my signature.
