Other people bought the remaining lower fare economy tickets and all that is left is the full fare economy that companies typically purchase as they are fully refundable / changeable. Delta has done nothing aside from sell their tickets like normal. As somebody else mentioned earlier, you can't just will more seats to exist. And once again, it's unfortunate that Delta prioritize profit over disaster relief. And also a bit weird tbh. I'd expect companies to do more for PR purposes, and I'd expect compensations paid from the govt to companies (as part of relief packages etc) who do make substantial sacrifices. --- Everything has an end, except for the sausage.
