I'm sorry but Piers was a fucking idiot that didn't let the man even speak, he was so far up in the ass of all the "good morals" to refuse to even have a conversation and wanted to look "good" Why else would you invite them on your show. Surely we know better than to stage this like CNN and their panels of commenters where the framing makes both sides look equal and grants both participants legitimacy in the appearance of "bias towards the middle." Not every story has two sides. And now that pundits like Kellyanne or Lord are in the soup, these people are dispensing with the illusion of sanity entirely to just throw talking points at their bases and mire the discussion in deflection, false equivalence, and straight up untruths. The only journalistically responsible thing to do is not put them on your air at all.
