the difference is someone who is into emo but not punk rock will never call themselves a punk rocker, they will call themselves an emokid or a scene kid. on the flipside, it doesn't matter what subgenre(s) of metal you are into, you're a metalhead in any case.
You clearly don't even know what Emo is if you equate it to scene kids. ---
