A measured and reasonable man who still had the spine for violence when necessary, and a gift for diplomacy. Sisko was exactly what DS9 needed. A captain that would punch Q in the face 10 minutes after he shows up. A man who would lie, cheat and steal to bring the Romulans into the Dominion War and wasn't going to take shit from anybody.
