Idk, as an outsider I feel like the availability is way too easy and common, and you hear 'xyz shooter killed 25 people in zyx place' news every now and then and they're all from the US.

So that's why I said toys; as in how easy its available and so many people own firearms, they're not available this easily in just about any other part of the world.

to be fair other weapons can be used for mass killings remember reading a story of 50 people being killed/injured in china with a knife, all within a matter of minutes and the attacker got away.

I guarantee if you took 'mericans guns away, the mass murdering types would resort to home made bombs.

america has more of a criminal problem more so than a gun problem.
