I can't speak to people who arbitrarily choose random teams, but I imagine most people pledge their loyalties based on hometown affiliation, myself included. I, being from Kansas City and having lived there for the first 22 years of my life, am forever devoted to the Chiefs and Royals. Even though I moved to Minnesota two years ago, I still care about the KC teams. I don't understand people who just wake up one day and decide to be fans of a particular team. The ONLY people I can give a break to are those who live in places like Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, etc. - They really are kinda hosed when it comes to pro sports. --- Not changing this sig until Pat Benatar is in Super Smash Bros.
