can be a problem, if not for:

Most digital cameras have an Auto mode in which they will automatically reduce the exposure
speed and increase the f/stop to take the photo, and this will not harm the camera. However, you will need to point the camera at the sun, and you will no doubt accidently glimpse the full-on solar disk and THAT could damage your eyes if you prolong it.



Like I said, you didn't even attempt to read it, it seems. They literally go, "this could have issues, well except that the phone is built to prevent that from being an issue"

toast's conclusion? "it will break your phone! believe that or you are denying science!!"
