How in the hell are so many of our ships getting in collisions these days at all? Isn't aegis enough to prevent anything bigger than a seagull from getting within range of our ships without getting shredded? How are things like tankers "sneaking up" on our ships. I can kind of understand how something like the Cole incident happened where it was a tiny rubber dingy filled with explosives, but I've been sailing in the Cape many times and you can see the "Toyota hauler" coming from miles away day or night.
