As far as I know they don't have a Singaporean version of our pop culture and academia attitude of "f*** white people" so that may keep tensions lower. Singapore is a city though. America is a giant ass country with different regions, cultures, etc. Hell, going from any random rural town, to NYC, you might as well be in a different country.
