Isn't the story still mandated by what is written in the books? No, after fifth season they are working on outlines given by Martin Well ... that sounds like an absolute recipe for disaster. He hasn't written the books yet (and IMO probably never will) so this is the only way it can go forward I know, there is just no way that a writer could give an outline to a director who would perfectly carry out the vision of the original writer, especially when that director answers to a board of directors. <cite>Dash_Harber posted [p:884930145] in As much as...
