It's hard to discount kanbaru. I mean I am a yuri fan to the max and her character is fun as well but karen is just painfully cute. Hopefully somehow they end up together.

Just finished Koyomimonogatari and huh... That ending is odd. I kinda think I know how it will be resolved with dream span but it's still an odd ass ending to what was otherwise pointless side stories. Raises quite a few questions. If I had to pick how things would be resolved, hachikuji would get resurrected with dream span and become the god of the shrine. I also assume the previous shrine was where the cram school was since they have the same tree thing and I Imagine that will be important later as well. I'm pretty sure the tree did not burn with the building.

The fact that gaen had the original heart span that was eaten by the darkness is the important question here. What is the darkness really and where does it lead? In the backstory there was honestly no reason for the villagers or anyone besides shinobu herself to get sucked into the void so I feel like theres still some things we don't know about it. Also means the original dream span might be out there as well.

I'm at sort of an impasse in what to do next. I really want to resolve the cliff hanger ending which would require watching owari S2 but I also need to watch kizu at some point. I'm not even sure if owari is fully subbed yet for that matter. I guess I'll stick to the original plan and watch kizu next. The thought of watching a monogatari movie sounds exhausting. It's tough enough for me at this point just watching normal length episodes.
