Topic	The problem I have with The Matrix (and similar movies/games)

Did the Animatrix explain how? I can't remember. Not sure, haven't watched Animatrix. That was always a thing that bugged me though and actually took me out of the experience. I just thought that was an ass-pull move because it wasn't explained at all in the movie.
