Kaep's contract last season was fully guaranteed so there was no possibility he was going to be cut. Like how did you not know this if you are a niners fan.

I mean that doesn't change the fact that it was being discussed. Hed lost his starting job already after a miserable season and was being called a locker room cancer by fans and experts alike. Speculation of him being cut was mostly fans but some of the local radio guys were running with it to. Don't know if regular sports media was as I tend only to follow the local channels.
