| SeabassDebeste 08/07/17 12:07:45 AM #8: | There's zero question that this was a more exciting and overall better battle than Battle of the Bastards. There was no deus ex machina at the end, and the favored army stomped the underdogs. But it was still visceral and thrilling thanks to the drama of the scorpion, the visual feast that really conveyed the horror of the situation, the characters involved on both sides, and the novelty of a fucking dragon. My favorite moment of the battle was probably the Dothraki bursting through the wall of flame and running over utterly burned corpses. Fire is not a nice way to go. --- yet all sailors of all sorts are more or less capricious and unreliable - they live in the varying outer weather, and they inhale its fickleness ...
