This isn't a thing.

And I can see why intermediate algebra wouldn't necessarily be useful to people outside STEM disciplines who otherwise have a grasp of everyday math.

Yes it absolutely IS a thing

As a physics major I have course requirements for humanities, sociology, "international", and "multicultural" classes. I have to take this bullshit.

But yeah tell us more about how STEM majors need an Intro to Gay Plays class while Liberal Arts majors don't need to know any math beyond basic algebra.
