They're always cesspools of angry fanboyism. This. Think it really ramped up during the PS3/360 era, though. Wouldn't surprise me. With the growing number of titles going multiplat (a trend that really took off last gen), people are increasingly desperate to find reasons to consider their systems worthwhile, which means they'll be more aggressive in defending those reasons. --- This is my signature.
