That's what Sarah Hucabee Sanders said today responding to Trump Jr's dictated response that President Trump has been lying about every this comes up. Does she know that she is lying on purpose? It's obvious. I mean, it's ok to be a Trump supporter, that's just a matter of politics. But if you say he ain't a liar, that's a running lie like a running joke.

The Washington Post reported that President Trump helped craft that misleading statement about his son's meeting with a Russian lawyer to the New York Times.

Asked about that today, Sarah Huckabee Sanders said that statement was not "misleading" and that "there is no inaccuracy in the statement." She said Democrats wanted to use it as a "PR stunt."

She added that President Trump did weigh in on the statement, as "any father would do."

When asked about a possible "trust deficit," Press Secretary Sanders said Trump is "truthful and transparent" every day.

"There seems to be a trust deficit that is being created with some on Capitol Hill," a reporter said.

She then read part of a Today show interview with Sen. Lindsey Graham, in which the senator said he was bothered "a lot" by a new Washington Post report that Trump came up with that misleading statement about his son's meeting with a Russian lawyer.

"Is this what is hurting the President's legislative agenda — this credibility issue on the Hill?" the reporter asked.

Huckabee said "Congress's inability to get things passed" is what's hurting Trump's agenda. She then added that Trump has been "truthful and transparent" every single day.""
