I agree that Collins and Murkowski deserve just as much if not more credit than McCain, but he voted the right way when it counted and that's worth a hell of a lot more than nothing. McCain could have stopped the process he railed against from the very beginning. Then he said he wouldn't vote for the BCRA in its present form then voted for it anyway. Unless I'm misunderstanding, wasn't his yes vote to proceed with bringing it to a vote...while saying he wasn't going to vote for it in its current state? Though I can't blame people for not believing this word on this. Yeah. He then followed that up by voting to amend the House bill to BCRA, though (which he said he couldn't support hours earlier).
